Our Work
At Rewild Renewal Revolution, every project is rooted in a simple but powerful belief:
Nature thrives when we work with it — and when we innovate for it.
Our mission is to heal and protect the environment through creative conservation strategies, community-driven action, and forward-thinking solutions that honor the natural world. Through every project, we strive to restore ecosystems, inspire new ideas, and empower the next generation to lead with both heart and innovation.

01
Plastic to Purpose
Through our Plastic to Purpose initiative, Rewild Renewal Revolution is turning local waste into community-driven innovation. We collect used plastic bottles from local schools, then transform them into 3D printing filament using our custom-built Polyformer. Our team designs and prints useful, sustainable products — with the goal of offering them for sale through our website.
This project not only reduces plastic waste but also shows how creativity, technology, and conservation can work together to create lasting change.
02
Bio-Printing
We’re experimenting with eco-friendly 3D printing by developing biodegradable filaments made from materials like cornstarch and algae. These natural alternatives to plastic reduce waste and environmental harm, offering a sustainable solution for prototyping and creative design. Bio-Printing is our step toward merging innovation with regeneration.

ShellCycle
Through our ShellCycle project, we partner with local restaurants to collect discarded oyster shells and give them new life. After curing the shells properly to remove contaminants, we use them in reef restoration efforts that support marine biodiversity, improve water quality, and rebuild coastal ecosystems. It’s a full-circle approach—transforming waste into habitat.
04
ClearCurrent
Clear Current tackles nitrogen and chemical contamination in Long Island’s aquifers and surface waters. This project promotes natural filtration zones—like rain gardens, bioswales, and constructed wetlands—on school grounds, in parks, or around businesses. It also educates residents on eco-friendly landscaping (reducing fertilizers and pesticides), and collaborates with scientists to install simple, low-cost nitrate sensors developed by our team in key areas

Growing our Vision
Our team is dedicated to restoring and protecting Long Island’s natural beauty—reviving native ecosystems, cleaning local spaces, and nurturing a stronger, greener community. Every volunteer, every action, every hour makes a real difference. Even the smallest effort, a planted seed, a shared idea, a single cleanup can spark powerful change. Join us, and be part of something that grows far beyond yourself.
